In our third season, Lit Live was lucky enough to come in contact with some incredible young people who wanted a chance to make their mark on the theatrical world.  From that concept, Lit Live created the Young Director's Guild, a program that encourages young people (mostly between the ages of 17 and 24) to try their hand at a position they may not normally be given a chance to try.  Austin Miller was our first young person to be at the head of a production, having directed And Lightning Struck at the ripe old age of 21. Morgan Keough, 18, was the next Young Director, as the brains behind our production of To Kill a Mockingbird, followed by Hannah Peterson, 20, as the director of this year's production of The Diary of Anne Frank, and now we are very excited to include Miss Hannah Comstock on that list, as the director of A Midsummer Night's Dream ... Reimagined.

Although these young people chose to take the director's chair, our Young Director's Guild is not limited to budding directors; if you or your child is interested in technical design, stage management, marketing, costuming, set building or producing, we would love to bring you/them onto our team to learn their trade in a safe, supportive climate.

If you or someone you know is interested in being our next candidate for the Young Director's Guild, please email us at!
